Blackwater has been quietly helping victims of the wildfires in southern California by providing food, water and shelter for those left homeless. It hasn't done much to promote that fact, any more than it has in Iraq, where it runs humanitarian projects frequently but seeks no credit.
We got this exclusive photo of Blackwater's freshly made camp for fire refugees in San Diego County.

This is a great example of the irrationality of the anti-Blackwater media. Rather than arguing that the contractors' misdeeds in Iraq outweigh this sort of humanitarian aid (a position I do NOT hold, for a variety of reasons), they simply ignore the humanitarian things Blackwater is doing. If we can't trust the them to report the good things Blackwater does, why do we trust to them to report on the (alleged) bad things?
