Prince urges Congress to do real cost studies

In addressing lawmakers' questions about the costs of hiring Blackwater and other private security contractors, Erik Prince repeatedly urged that Congress conduct "true activity-based cost studies."

He did so on at least three occasions, correcting a Waxman commitee figure as inflated. "Sponsor an activity-based cost study," Prince said. "Look at it."

Chairman Waxman expressed no visible interest in conducting those studies.
