Kucinich & Cummings show no understanding of legal term

Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) shows he has no understanding of the term "mercenary." By calling Blackwater a "mercenary" force, Kucinich (pictured with added foil hat) was calling the diplomatic security provider an illegal organization. Mercenary is a carefully defined legal term. Under international law, including the Geneva Conventions, that term does not apply to private security providers.

Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) made a similarly ignorant statement.

Well, except that, as the other site you link to defines mercenaries, according to the Geneva Convention, Blackwater fits the definition perfectly.
