Waxman brings trial lawyer clients to hearing

Concluding the October 2 Blackwater hearing. House Oversight Committee Chairman Henry Waxman recognized clients of a trial lawyer who is suing Blackwater USA for an eight-figure sum, holding the company responsible for the Sunni extremist murders of four Blackwater guards in Fallujah.

On resuming his post as committee chairman early this year, Waxman responded to the request of the trial lawyer, Daniel Callahan, to hold hearings on behalf of his lawsuit. Callahan made the request specifically to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

It's amazing how you people daemonize your enemy.

News Flash: there are no "trial lawyers in authoritarian countries.

God bless our trial lawyers.

Did you see the hearings? It was incredible! As a Democrat, I was embarassed by Waxman's performance. Demonize the enemy? There is no worse enemy for Waxman than himself! He needs to go.

As a Republican, I'd like to see more people like Congressman Waxman. He seems like he wants accountability in our government and in Iraq.

Wait a second, that doesn't sound like something a Republican wants!

Um, as a Republican, I'm proud to support mercenary war profiteers, who kill Iraqi civilians and get away with it!

Does it surprise anyone that comments are deleted? Me neither. If they can't shoot at unarmed people they cower like the bullies they are.

Nice work boys.
